Hello, I'm Claudia !

I fell in love with photography the same way I fell in love with my husband, one day at a time and everyday all over again. It all started at the age of five when my father gave me a little red camera for my birthday. He promised that I would be able to use it when  I will be older. It felt like magic ! I used to admire that little camera in the cupboard everyday waiting patiently for the day I could finally use it.  Long story-short, that day never came. The camera remained in the cupboard until it eventually broke from years of not being used.

My first experience with photography came, years later, during my university years, studying Fine Arts. There, I discovered artists from across the globe. I explored printmaking, painting, drawing, sculpture and applied arts. Each form taught me to see differently, to feel more deeply. But through it all, photography was the language that felt most natural, the one that spoke for me when words couldn’t.

I still remember my very first photography class, the magic of the darkroom, the faint scent of chemicals, and the thrill of watching an image appear from nothing, as though a memory was coming alive. In that moment, something inside me settled. That quiet reverence for natural light, for the truth it reveals so gently, has guided my work ever since.

With my Fine Arts degree in hand,  I chose the more rational path and began a career as a graphic designer. I created logos for luxury hotels, designed creative illustrations for famous brands, and contributed in several successful campaigns. It was a wonderful chapter of my life, but photography kept calling me back, softly and insistently, like a familiar melody I couldn’t forget. After 10 years as a full time designer, I quit my job and dedicate myself entirely to photography.

It's been nine years now that I'm living my dream job. I'm grateful to God for guiding and inspiring me everyday and in every way.

My husband is the videographer !

Jean-François is the one who has been with me from the very start of my journey in photography. He's my life partner and my one true love and we've been married since 2015. After supporting me during photo sessions and weddings, we took a leap together into videography. He trained with dedication, and we invested in the right gear to create authentic, natural, and emotion-filled wedding films. We are a happy married duo working together for 7 years now. Beyond videography, Jean-François is a secondary school business teacher and a talented pianist with a deep love for music.

Once upon a time an angel held my hand. She wiped away my tears and helped me understand our time on earth is brief . She loved us unconditionally, always by our side. When no one else would listen, in her we could confide. With gentle words of wisdom, she led us on our way. © Kathy J. Parenteau

5 Facts about me !

I'm extremely patient

Let’s be honest, things don’t always go exactly as planned.
Maybe your little one decides that the photoshoot day is not the day to cooperate. Maybe you feel a little nervous, emotional, or overwhelmed on your wedding day. And that’s completely normal. Life isn’t perfect — and it doesn’t need to be. You don’t have to carry that pressure. I will be there to gently guide you, adapt to the moment, and create space for things to unfold naturally. If baby needs a break, we pause. If you need a breath, we slow down. If emotions rise, we embrace them. Some of the most beautiful images come from the unplanned moments — the in-between, the laughter after the chaos, the tenderness in the nerves.

My role is not just to take photos. It’s to support you, reassure you, and help you feel safe and at ease — no matter what the day brings. You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be present. I’ll take care of the rest.

I know my stuff

Fine Arts taught me how to see. Graphic design taught me how to create an image with intention. And even now, I’m still learning. I’m constantly educating myself, refining my craft, exploring new ideas and growing creatively. I never want to stay the same, I believe renewing myself is part of honouring this calling and giving my clients my very best. Looking back, I honestly feel like every step of my journey was preparing me for this. All the years of studying, creating, designing, they formed my sensitivity, my attention to detail, and the way I approach every session today. Nothing was wasted. It all led me here.

I'm passionate about what I do

Photography isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I genuinely love. I feel so grateful that I get to wake up and do something creative, meaningful, and filled with emotion. Capturing love, connection, and real moments never feels routine to me. It still excites me. Every session matters. Every story matters. I put my whole heart into my photography because it means something to me. It’s not just about taking beautiful images — it’s about preserving feelings, memories, and seasons of life that you’ll never get back.

I will guide you

I know you’re probably thinking, “But we’re not models…” And that’s completely okay. Most of the beautiful souls you see on my website felt exactly the same way before their session. It’s so natural to feel a little nervous or unsure in front of a camera — especially if you’ve never done this before. Please know this: you don’t have to know how to pose, where to look, or what to do with your hands. That’s my role. I will gently guide you every step of the way — with simple direction, natural movement, and soft prompts that help you forget about the camera and focus on each other. My approach is relaxed, unhurried, and intuitive, so you can breathe, laugh, move, and simply be yourself. The most beautiful images are never about perfect poses — they’re about real connection. And I promise, by the end of our time together, you won’t feel like you’ve been “photographed.” You’ll feel like you’ve experienced a beautiful moment. 🤍
