HOW DO I BOOK YOU ?

For me to reserve the date, a Paypal deposit of $47 will be requested. You can either send me the deposit on the Paypal link below or provide me with your email address, on which I will send you a Paypal request. The rest of the payment for the photoshoot will be in cash at the end of the session, preferably in Mauritian Rupees. If you did not have local money, I also accept US dollar or Euro. Altenatively, payment can be made via Paypal, with an additional transaction fees applied.

WHAT HAPPEN IF IT RAINS ON THE SHOOTING / WEDDING DAY ?

If it rains or if the session need to be postponed for whatever reason, I'll be happy to rescheduled a new date as far as I have available slots.

WHEN AND HOW MANY PICTURES WILL I RECEIVE ?

Depending on the package you choose, I will send you a sneak peek within 2 to 3 days after the session / wedding day. The final high-resolution, print quality images will be ready within 4 to 5 weeks following the photo session. I always aim to try and deliver them sooner than this if possible. The pictures will be delivered to you online through a link to your email.

WHAT ARE YOUR PREFERRED PLACES AND TIME FOR A PHOTO SESSION ?

My favourite place for shooting is the beach. My preferred time to shoot is before sunset or in early morning. The time before sunset is what we called the golden hour. The magical light is soft and flattering to the skin. Sunset time varies in Mauritius. In summer, the sun sets around 7 pm. And in winter sunset is around 5.30 pm. My second preferred time is early morning. This is for clients who are looking for radiant turquoise colour of the sea and white sand.

ARE YOU WILLING TO ACCEPT A LIST OF “MUST-HAVE” PHOTOS?

Your ideas are very welcome. You can send me some photos that you think are the most important photos for you to have. For the rest, I will want you to trust me. Afterall, that's the reason why you booked me, right ? And that is awesome ! On the shooting day, I already have a plan of what kind of photos need to be made. I also like to let myself be inspired by the wedding venue and clients themselves. And that's what make each session/ wedding unique.

WHAT EQUIPMENTS DO YOU USE ?

I use the latest professional camera equipment. I have 3 mirrorless high-end cameras ; Nikon Z6III, Nikon Z6II & Nikon Z6 . I am also equipped with flash lighting in case of low lighting situations. I shoot on 2 cards simultaneously; 1 card as main storage and the 2nd as a backup. This way there is almost no possibility your images get corrupted or lost by accident.

WE'RE NOT PHOTOGENIC. IS THAT A PROBLEM ?

I know that it can be quiet intimidating being in front of the camera. I will try my best to make you feel at ease and guide you through different poses so that you look your best and natural. What comes out frequently after a session with me, is that clients will describe the session as being relaxed and them feeling very comfortable.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR THE SESSION ?

During your session, you should feel confident and comfortable in what you have on.  For shootings with 2 outfits. I always suggest the first outfit to be more casual and the second opting for a more refined look. Try not to match perfectly . We have all seen the matching photos of the jeans and white shirt on the beach. If you haven’t just look it up. It is quite the iconic “family” portrait from the 2000s. Coordination doesn’t mean you have to wear a matching outfit. But, your look should come together.

Complimenting one another in the same tones is beneficial.

Hair Style & Make up

Make up and hair styles should be SIMPLE. Hair should be off the face. Hair falling down onto the sides of the face create distracting shadows. Eye glasses may or may not be worn. Non-reflective lenses, of course, are a big help. Don’t over accessorise! Overbearing or heavily noticeable accessories can be a major distraction. Simple and minimal works best.

DO YOU WATERMARK YOUR PHOTOS?

No! I strongly believe you should have photos that are unmarked.

WILL I HAVE FULL OWNERSHIP TO THE PHOTOS?

Yes, once delivered, you have the rights to do whatever you would like with the photographs. I do, however, ask for credit by name for any businesses that use my work for any public or marketing purposes

HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO I REALLY NEED?

My standard wedding package is of maximum 3 hours coverage. This is best for elopements weddings and weddings with very few guests and short receptions, or no reception at all. If you will be more than 25 people and need coverage of the reception of at least the toasts and cake cutting, then I can send you a revised package of 5 hours coverage.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER?

I learned film photography in university a long time ago, and have been in love with photography ever since. In 2009, I bought my first DSLR and never stop practicing since then. In 2016, I photographed my first wedding and quite my full time job as graphic designer in 2017. I am a happy full time wedding photographer for about 6 years now. Read a little more about me.

WHAT TYPES OF SESSIONS DO YOU OFFER ?

I'm mainly a portrait photographer. I do weddings, honeymoon, maternity, family and newborn portraits.
